Convenient interchangeable domes allow for quick changes of combustion chambers to adapt to different fuel octane, altitude or engine combinations. Unique water jacket design channels coolant across finned surfaces on top of the combustion chambers greatly reducing cylinder head temperature and the risk of predetonation, the central area is reinforced to prevent cracking. Reusable o-rings seals ( silicon and viton ) eliminate head gasket failure and allow for convenient head removal and reinstallation. Cnc machined design constructed from 6061-t6 aircraft alloy with a high quality final factory finish, hard anodized to prevent corrosion and heat treatment. High strenght stainless stell studs clamp the cylinder in place between the head and engine cases. Heads are sold in trhee separate parts : bodies, caps and domes . Head bodies include hardware and o-rings. Head caps include exhaust mounts (for riva and factory pipe style) . Domes are sold individually . available in a variety of sizes (limited for 81mm piston or superstock for 81mm and 84mm piston or just worked in the external . |
